Built for the line it sits in.
A fully welded ball valve is chosen for one reason above all: there is no body joint to leak from. That matters most on buried mains, on district heating networks and anywhere the valve has to stay shut for decades without a service visit.
Gas transmission & distribution
Welded ends remove the flange pair at every buried or vaulted joint — the point where gas lines most often weep. Bodies are shell- and seat-tested to EN 12266-1 and supplied with the test report.
- WE (welded ends) or RF flanged
- Carbon steel A105 / A350 LF2, PN16 – PN420
- Anti-corrosion coating or 3PE for burial
District heating mains
Hot water at up to +200 °C with the PTFE seat, in a welded body that tolerates the thermal cycling of a heating network without a gasket to re-torque.
- −45 … +200 °C service range
- Extended stem versions for insulated pits
- 3PE or epoxy coating
Oil & oil products
Forged bodies with ENP-plated ball and stem for product lines and tank farms, in full bore where a pig has to pass and reduced bore where it does not.
- Full bore passes a pig
- Reduced bore where flow area is not critical
- ISO 5211 pad for actuation
Potable & corrosive water
304 is our most requested grade for potable water; 316 and 316L where chlorides or process media rule out the base grade. Same welded body, same seat.
- A182 F304 / F316 / F316L
- EN 1.4301 / 1.4404 equivalents
- V-port trim for flow balancing
