Two body families, one welded body.
Every valve is forged in carbon steel or stainless and welded shut, so there is no body joint and no gasket inside the pressure boundary. Grades are quoted with both ASTM and EN equivalents so European and Australian buyers can cross-reference without a conversion table.
Forged Carbon Steel
Our default body material for gas, district heating and oil service. Forged — not cast — so the grain flow follows the shape of the body and there is no porosity to leak through after welding.
- PN16 – PN420 pressure classes
- Ball A105 / P235GH with ENP plating
- Stem AISI 4140 (42CrMo4 / 1.7225) with ENP
- Supplied bare, epoxy coated or 3PE for burial
Stainless Steel
304 is our most requested grade for corrosive and potable water lines; 316 and 316L where chlorides or process media rule out the 300-series base. Same welded body, same seat design.
- EN 1.4301 (304) and EN 1.4404 (316L) equivalents
- Full bore, reduced bore, V-port and low-temperature trims
- Suitable for potable water and mildly corrosive media
- Trim quoted with the valve
What goes on the outside
Coating is chosen with the valve, not after it — the shop coat goes on only once the body has passed its shell and seat test.
How the material is qualified
Not for steam service. PTFE seat, suitable to +200 °C — for steam or higher temperatures ask for the metal-seated version.
