FIG. 1 — GENERAL VIEW
DN50 – DN400 · PN25 · BALANCING
Welded Static Balancing Valve, Gear Operated
The gear-operated balancing valve: a V-port welded ball valve with two test ports, DN50 to DN400 at PN25. Gear operation is what makes the larger sizes usable — from DN200 upward the set-point is reached with a handwheel rather than a lever. Used on the larger branches and sub-stations of district heating networks.

Set the flow, lock it
A V-port trim gives fine control at low opening, so a branch can be balanced to the design flow.
Gear operation from DN200
Above DN150 the valve is supplied with a gearbox, which holds the set-point better than a lever.
Measure without tapping the pipe
Two test ports let a differential meter be connected straight to the valve.
Specifications & standards
Values below are for the standard configuration. Other pressure ratings, trims and end connections are available on request.
NOT FOR STEAM SERVICE — PTFE seat, suitable to +200 °C. For steam or higher temperatures ask for the metal-seated version.
Range & ordering options
This pattern is built to order, so the face-to-face length and the end detail are drawn for your line rather than taken from a stock table.
Dimensional drawings — L, H, weight and end detail — are issued with the quotation for the exact size and end standard you specify. The verified EN / DIN tables are on the technical data page.
